Hi... wanted to let you know I used this image in a picture I just did [link] this is my first attept at creating photomanips using stock images so I have tried to credit every one appropriatly but if I screwed something up please let me know and I'll be happy to fix it! :) thanks for the great stock.

If it's the crediting you're unsure of, I can tell you that you've done it right. People credit in different ways, some on the picture, some in the artist comment, some leave links to the original image, some to the stock-artist, and some to both. I normally do to both when I make a manipulation (long time since I've done one, though), because then you can just click the link and see the original stock, and it can be intresting to see what the artist have changed about the stock picture.

For your first photomanipulation, I think it's really good.

ok, thancks for letting me know about the crediting. I didnt want to offend anybody or upset anyone! I've done some photomanip with my sister and her photography for a book we are working on but I never knew there was such a thing as stock photos that I could use to create even more art. I feel kind of like a kid in a candy store right now! :D just trying not to get my hand slapped.

As long as you give the artist a link to the finished product, and link to them/their stockpicture in the artist comment, everything should be fine.

One advice more; read the stockartist's rules. They're often linked to in the journal. It mostly says that they want you to inform them, but some also don't want some pictures to be uesd in spesif types of art: Exsample Attemptstock doesn't want the stockpictures of a kid she has the gallery (I think it's her brother) to be used in anything dark or scary. This isn't often though, mostly all artist just don't want people to use their stock in any rasist or pornograpic pictures.

Oh boy do I recoginse that feeling, when I first found out about stock. So many pictures! So many things I can make!
